In an inlay/ marquetry, wood is engraved and that space is filled with different wood. However, its commercial translation is quite interesting. It is just like a board puzzle, where wooden pieces are pasted on a plywood board. It is a - look alike inlay.

Here, i have worked with the annual ring of a wood log, using the inlay language. This is somewhat like a wood talking about a wood …here micro is also a wood and the macro is also a wood. Something similar to human grafting.
